Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the wood you salvage come from?

We source most of our reclaimed lumber from Indiana and Northern Kentucky. We partner with responsible and careful lumber salvaging experts that work hard to salvage as much material as possible from each historic structure.

What is the lead time when ordering your products?

Many of our reclaimed materials are ready for same day pickup.  If it's something we have in stock, we can put your order together for you, or you can hand select the boards yourself.  Our team is happy to help you load your vehicle.  We have a forklift and loading dock on site for larger orders.

Do you ship your materials?

We personally deliver orders to Indianapolis and Chicago areas on a regular basis.  We also deliver anywhere within a 3-4 hour radius of Lafayette, IN.

Outside of our delivery area? No Problem! We ship our materials nationwide and to Canada.  We've even sent several orders to a client in Bermuda.  Most larger orders ship via freight carriers.  It's beneficial to have a forklift and/or loading dock to receive your materials. Lift gate service can be arranged for residential delivery, as well. Contact us for a quote on shipping if you're unable

Is all of your inventory online?

No.  We try to keep our website up to date as best as possible, but we have such a variety or reclaimed materials it's hard to keep them all up there.  If you don't see what you're looking for give us a call or email us.

Do you buy barns?

We specialize in custom milling and processing of reclaimed lumber, as well as, crafting unique hand made custom reclaimed wood furniture and decor.  Therefore, we do not actively pursue and take down barns unless they are within 30 miles of Lafayette, IN and have exceptional material inside of them or historical significance.

Do you buy barn lumber if it's already deconstructed?

Yes!  We're always interested to see what materials you may have for sale.  We require lumber to be de-nailed, end-trimmed, and stacked into bunks for easy scaling (quantifying how much lumber is there) and transport.  We will arrange transportation of material from anywhere in the Midwest or if you prefer to deliver to our facility we can compensate you for that, as well.
